The First blog. dun dun duuuunnnn

I really didn't want to start my first blog with "Hello" That being said. Hello!!! 
My name is Debbie. I'm going to be skinny soon so I thought I'd document things they way they are while I'm still fat. (I'm a positive thing aint I?) I'm 25, newlywed. have a great family, husband, job and life. I'm a photographer and love what I do! I've been overweight my whole life. I don't have a sob story of being picked on when I was a kid. Fortunately I've been blessed with a great life. Never really had low self esteem. My whole life I've gone through the two fat girl stages.
 "I'm fat. I want to wear normal cute clothes, I need to lose weight!" 
"Torrid and Lane Bryant?! YES! Fat Girls Rock!"
So I go back and forth. But at this point in my life, I'm SO ready to be skinny. 
My highest weight was 310 and I knew that at point it was too much! 
So I joined weight watchers. lost 10 pounds. Its a GREAT program but I need more discipline. I don't see myself calculating points for the rest of my life. I need to change my life style. I have a good before and after..err..of maybe before and during picture. 
 Okay so lets get down to the business of me telling you strangers (very nice people) but strangers my weight info.   (This is me on my wedding day 8 months ago) 

I'm 5'6, currently weigh 274, according to my BMI  I'm like Totally Obese. 
I'm fortunate to have a good shape.  (Don't be fooled.I'm Puerto Rican. But I look like a white girl.) but I have the hips and curves which I don't mind. I would just like for them to be smaller. I'd like to get too 199 thats my first big goal. Then I'll see where I want to go from there. 

I'm currently on myfitnesspal.com and counting calories. I'm at 1300 calories a day and for the most part I do pretty good at staying in that. 
Yesterday I started the couch to 5k program. I was told my a doctor once that I shouldn't run at this weight because of the impact that gets slammed on my knees and I felt it yesterday, but I feel so good when I run! My goal one day is to run a half marathon at Disney world. (I LOVE DISNEY!) So we'll see how that goes.
